Ugh

Well, the bus I picked doesn't run while school is in vacation. And they're on vacation this week :-(
Spent an hour trying to get a hold of my host, Em. Just got a text through and hope she gets it.
We'll get there tonight... Somehow.

Watched several videos featuring Em that the Guardian did about being an off the grid family. Saw the yurt, the shoreline, and Em cooking up some mussels and herbs over a campfire. And there was this seaweed in a batter that she fried up that looked scrumptious. I also got glimpses of the ponies and her wonderful son, Stormy. Sending you and your amazing hosts all our love.

Hello, Ladies! Sorry I haven't written yet, but Evan's Whooping Cough is back, and I haven't slept and am behind on everything... ANYWAY, so excited to follow your adventures! Love the photos, especially the skeleton key! If you run into any of my Hiland relatives, tell them I say, "Halò". :) Have fun. :)

Thanks for the comments! It's good to hear from you guys. We had the seaweed fritters yesterday. Not bad.

Jodi - sorry to hear Evan is still coughing. Sending Love and healing! We'll see if we can find some Hilands while we're here.
